There are three error states that can occur when receiving tax updates from HMRC. The message you will see depends on the cause of the failure and the resolution is different for each issue.

Once the connection is authorised, try receiving updates again. |
HMRC's PAYE Notice system is not responding | There seems to be a problem retrieving your tax updates so your data could not be updated. We suggest waiting a few minutes and coming back to try again. If the problem persists, or you need to make the changes now, we suggest logging in to your HMRC PAYE account to find the notices due and apply them manually. | This is not an issue that can be addressed within Paycircle and is caused directly by HMRC. |
