Industry sector classification system that enables companies to identify their primary business category during onboarding and manage this information through their settings, providing valuable market data.

For Paycircle users who need to be properly categorised within our system, the Industry Sector Management feature is a comprehensive classification system that captures their primary business sector using standardised UK SIC 2007 categories. Unlike having no industry classification data, our solution enables improved market analysis, and better customer understanding for strategic decision-making.

  • Dynamic descriptions are displayed when sectors are selected.

  • Examples include: "Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing", "Mining and Quarrying", etc.

The company creation wizard demonstrates this functionality through the Primary Industry Sector dropdown, showing the selection process with accompanying descriptive text that explains each sector's scope to users.
