Guidance on how to manage cookie consent in Paycircle

We have implemented a comprehensive cookie consent solution across both Paycircle Payroll and Pay Portal applications to ensure full GDPR compliance for direct customer scenarios. This provides users with transparent control over analytics and performance tracking whilst maintaining all essential functionality.

You will now need to manage cookie consent in the future to continue the use of the Access Digital Assistant to raise support queries. To do this, follow the steps below.

⚠️ Important: If you are a direct customer, this doesn't apply to you, so there is no action needed.

  1. Log in to Paycircle payroll or pay portal.

  2. A banner will appear with three options:

    • Accept all: Recommended for full experience.

    • Required only: Disables optional tracking.

    • Manage preferences: Choose what to allow.

  3. Make your choice and click Continue.

This only applies to your current browser or device. If you use multiple devices or browsers, you need to repeat these steps on each one.

  • Default: Off until you consent


Frequently asked questions

Will payroll still work if I decline cookies?
Yes. All essential features work regardless of your cookie preferences.

Can I change my mind later?
Your preferences are stored in your browser when you make your choice. To change them, you would need to clear your browser cookies/data and set preferences again when the banner reappears.

Do I need to set this up in both Payroll and Pay Portal?
Yes. Preferences are stored separately in each browser and application.

Why am I seeing the banner again on a different device?
Cookie preferences are stored in your browser, not on our servers. This is standard practice. You'll need to set preferences on each device you use.

What if I use private/incognito browsing?
Preferences won't be saved in private browsing mode. You'll see the banner each time.
