How is payroll year end run in Paycircle?

This happens automatically when the final period of the payroll is run. Checks to complete before processing the final period can be found here with a summary of the automatic processes which happen in Paycircle here.

When will P60s be published?

When the final payroll is run unless you have configured the date within settings at the bureau or company level. The article to configure this at Company level is here and for Bureaus to do this at the Bureau level here.

If I process a supplementary run after year end, will the P60s be updated?

Yes the relevant employees’ P60s will be updated and available on the employee portal.

Does the P60 email notification need to be switched on?

By default this is switched on but for Bureaus, you can check this in the Bureau settings > Notifications > emails.

Will statutory leave rates be automatically uplifted?

Yes SMP, SPP and Statutory Sick pay will be automatically uplifted.

Will employees on National Minimum Wage be uplifted automatically?

No these will need changing in the employees record or by importing these.

Is there a report for National Minimum Wage?

Whilst there is not a specific report for National Minimum Wage, you can view employee pay rates in a number of reports including the Standard Employee Details report and Standard rate report.

If I have multiple payrolls on a single PAYE reference, do I need to do anything differently to submit the final FPS and EPS once the last payroll is run?

No, Paycircle will send the last submission indicator flags and there is nothing further required.

If you roll back to March will all employees receive another email re their P60?

If you've set a P60 notification date to a date in the future and you rollback before this date, the P60's will be sent on the scheduled future date. If you chose to send P60 notification emails straight away and roll back after, the emails will not be resent.

What happens if I miscalculate my data and submit to HMRC?

Our Paycircle team here can assist with any technical or product questions you may have, but our customers data and the entry and calculation of the data is the responsibility of our customers. Please double check all data you will be submitting to HMRC before submission. Any corrections that are needed following submission would require a roll back or a supp run to correct these figures.
