Some national insurance (NI) categories are applicable to employees of certain ages. For example, category C is for people over State Pension age, and M is for employees under the age of 21.
Within Paycircle, you can set up the automatic updating of team members’ NI categories. If they aren’t set to auto-apply, you need to accept or reject any NI updates.
To turn updates to auto-accept, follow the steps below:
📌Note: Automatic NI updates are only visible once the payroll has been calculated.
As a Paycircle administrator, click Settings, then click Payroll Settings.
Next to Auto accept NI Category updates, click Edit.
Turn on the Auto-accept NI Category updates toggle.
Click Save.
