In some instances, pension period dates differ from the pay period dates in Paycircle. To select pension period dates, follow the steps in the relevant section below.
Note: Pension period alignment applies to all pension schemes set up within the company. This cannot be altered for each individual pension scheme.
Via the Pension area
Click Pensions from the left-hand navigation then click Edit next to pension period alignment.
Click Different to pay periods.
Use the + or - buttons to input the days you require, then click Save.
Via the company setup wizard
Once you have set up a company and reached step 10 of 12, select whether the pension period alignment is the same as pay periods or different to pay periods.
If you select the option for different to pay periods, use the toggles to offset the days later, or earlier than periods.
Click Save.
View history logs of changes to pension period alignment
To view the changes you made to pension period alignment, click Activity on the right-hand side of Paycircle. Alternatively, follow the steps below.
Click Pensions from the left-hand navigation then click into the relevant pension scheme.
To view the logs of the changes you have made, click the History tab.
