Paycircle has standard packs of reports that are available to view and download when you calculate and process payroll. These are the draft and final packs of reports.
The draft and final packs
The draft pack contains a payroll summary report, a payroll comparison report, a payslip summary report, and a pension summary report. These are available when you perform a draft calculation and enable you to check the payroll data and sign off the draft calculation. You can then process payroll.
The final pack contains the final versions of the draft reports and includes an audit report, an HMRC or P32 report, and the FPS file. Other files include EPS, journals, BACS, and pension PAPDIS, which automatically generate, if required, according to the company settings and setup.
If you require regular reports that aren't part of a standard report pack, you can design custom reports and associate them to create automatically each pay period.
This article explains the key features and functionality of the Custom Reporting option.
Create new report templates
You can create report templates from scratch or by copying an existing template, making some changes, then saving it as a new template. To create report templates, click Reports then click Templates.
Sort data and apply filters
When creating new report templates, you can select how you need to sort and filter the report. When creating each report template, you can specify how to format the report using the Sort and Filter tools.
Previewing templates
To help you ensure the report is what's required, you can preview report templates while you're in the process of creating and saving them as templates.
While you're creating a new report template, click Preview. You can then go back and amend the report or save it to your Templates area.
To preview saved templates, click the action cog ⚙️ for the report you’d like to preview.
