Set a company to auto send payroll reports

Set payroll reports to send automatically.

Auto send payroll reports allows you to automatically send reports to payroll admins, or other external contacts, every time a payroll is run. To do this, watch the video or follow the steps below.

Turn on Auto send payroll reports

To turn on Auto send payroll reports, follow the steps below.

  1. Within the Company, click Settings, then click Payroll settings.

  2. Click Edit next to Auto send payroll reports.

  3. Toggle on Auto send payroll reports.

Select the reports and setting a password

Once Auto send payroll reports has been turned on, you will then need to select all the reports you wish to send when payroll is run. You will be able to choose from all the reports available, as well as which format you want them to be sent in.

You can also set a password to protect the files by switching the toggle on to Password protect the reports. Once added, this password can be changed at any time, as often as you like.

View and add recipients

The reports will be automatically sent to all company admins set up on the company, but you can also add external recipients to receive the reports. To add another recipient, select Add external recipient and enter their name and email address.

If you wish to delete one of the external recipients after they have been added, simply click the bin icon next to their information.
