Before you can import a chart of accounts, you will first need to ensure the company has been connected to Xero. Once the company is connected to an organisation in Xero, you can begin importing.
Note: Two-factor authentication needs to be turned on within Bureau settings in order to connect to Xero.
Import from Xero
To import from Xero, follow the steps below.
Within the company, click Settings.
Click Journals, then click the Nominal codes tab.
Click Import, and then click Xero.
Map the column headers by clicking on the header, then click Map header against the column you wish to map it to.
If there are any nominal codes you wish to ignore from the import, check the Ignore tick box against the relevant row.
Click Import.
Note: If you need to do another import from Xero, for example, if you ignored a row by mistake, or a new nominal code has been added to Xero and you need it reflected in Paycircle, you will need to ensure that all existing nominal codes are ignored from the import. If nominal codes that already exist in the company are not ignored when you import, you will not be able to proceed with importing the chart of accounts.
β
