In some instances, you may need to delete a team member that has been incorrectly set up on Paycircle. You are only able to action the deletion of a team member if they have not yet been submitted to HMRC.
Delete a team member that has not been submitted to HMRC
If the team member has been set up incorrectly and has not been run through payroll, follow the steps below.
Click Team then on the relevant team member click the action cog βοΈ.
Click Delete team member then click Delete team member to confirm. The team member has been deleted. If you wish to add them to your team again you can do so from your team page
Delete a team member that has been submitted to HMRC
If a team member has already been submitted to HMRC by running payroll, it is not possible to delete them. This is because once their details have been reported to HMRC, they are officially recognised as working for the company. To remove them from your payroll, you must follow the leaver process. This process will notify HMRC that the individual is no longer employed by the company, and their record will be updated accordingly.
