To set a manual HMRC ID for any new starter in Paycircle, follow the steps below.
Click Team , then click the relevant team member record.
In the employment section, click Company Details.
Select No under the question that asks if the employee is a new starter.
Scroll down and populate the HMRC ID field as required.
Click Next to save the change.
Notes:
Once a team member has been processed in at least one payroll period, you will not be able to change their HMRC ID.
You must ensure that any HMRC ID entered against the team member does not overlap another team members HMRC ID. You can check which HMRC ID's have been assigned using the Paycircle Employee Details Report.
