Ensure leavers can continue to access their payslips

How to ensure leavers can continue to access their payslips via Access Identity login.

If a leaver migrated their payslip portal account to Access Identity using their work email address, and no longer has access to that work email address, they can't log into their payslip portal.

Note: If a team member always logged in via a personal email address (e.g., @gmail.com) rather than a work email address, you do not need to take any action, as the leaver will be able to continue using the same login credentials as they did while they were an active team member.

There are two solutions available to resolve this issue.

Prerequisites

  • You must be a super user, bureau administrator, group administrator or company administrator.

  • You must have the [Access & Permissions] and [Add and delete team member] permissions assigned to your role.

Option 1: Unregister and invite to re-register

Unregistering and re-inviting a leaver will automatically remove the link to their Identity account and will allow them to set up new credentials in both Paycircle and Access Identity.

Option 2: Manually clear the Identity account link

You can clear the existing Identity link from the leaver manually by following these steps:

  1. Open the relevant payroll company then click Leavers.

  2. Open the relevant leaver's record then click the Action icon.

  3. Click Unlink Access account.

The next time they log in, they'll receive a prompt to migrate to Access Identity. To ensure they can use their personal email address going forward, they need to select the option to create a new account.
