Pension showing as unauthorised

Aviva pension keeps reverting to unauthorised after authorising

When authorising a pension scheme, there are a few steps to the process before Paycircle can display that the pension is authorised. The steps below outline the process in order.

  1. When you click Authorise, Paycircle contacts PensionSync.

  2. PensionSync provides a link to the pension schemes' authorisation page.

  3. You click the link and log in, then click Grant Access.

  4. The pension scheme confirms the authorisation to PensionSync.

  5. PensionSync confirm the authorisation back to Paycircle.

If you are seeing the scheme status of Unauthorised, but you have followed the process above. The issue is most likely step 4, where PensionSync has not yet updated to the correct status.

If your pension scheme has been showing as unauthorised for more than 24 hours, contact PensionSync.
