In Paycircle, administrator users are always set up initially as the female gender - this is because HMRC require payroll providers to always set either a male or female gender for all users.

If you want to change the gender of an administrator so that this correctly reflects on any employee based reports, you can do so with these steps:

  1. Log in to Paycircle.

  2. In the top right, click the fast search spyglass icon.

  3. Change the initial search criteria to Team Members.

  4. Use the secondary search criteria to find the user. You can search on either of the following:

    • Full Name

    • Email Address

  5. Identify the administrator account (this will be the account with an unknown NI Number) and click View profile >.

  6. Click on the Setup tab.

  7. To the right of the Personal card, click Name, Date of birth, NI number β†’.

  8. Set the desired gender.

  9. Set a date of birth (if one is not present).

  10. Click Next, Cancel.

The administrators gender will now reflect your change in your employee reports.
