We're excited to announce a powerful new feature that will transform how you manage business categories and pay elements.
Business Category Import
Our new Business Category Import feature allows you to seamlessly import business categories and automatically link them to pay elements like hourly pay. With this new tool you can:
Import business categories
Automatically map categories to pay elements during import
Eliminate categorisation errors with built-in validation
To do this, follow the steps below.
As a Paycircle admin, click Payroll then click Current Period.
Click Add, then click Import.
Click Get started, or if you’ve previously imported files, click Upload a new file.
Drag and drop a file into the importer.
Validate the file.
Click the relevant block and map the business category
Click Import.
Note: This feature works alongside your existing manual categorisation options. You can still use both methods as needed for maximum flexibility.
Additional information: This feature supports all major file formats and integrates seamlessly with your current pay element workflows. For businesses managing multiple locations or departments, this tool will be especially valuable for maintaining consistency across all operations.
