We've released improvements when you're completing a recurring pay element import on your Payroll. We've added a new Number of Periods column to the recurring pay element import. This allows you to stop or continue existing recurring elements in bulk, making it useful for scenarios like bulk-removing car allowances from multiple employees.

If you change the pay frequency (monthly to weekly), the period count doesn't auto-adjust. You need to re-import with corrected values.

How it works

When populating the Number of Periods column, you can enter one of three options that influence how recurring pay will be used for that team member.

Option

Description

Empty/Blank

Leaving the field blank results in no change. The element will continue on, however, it is currently set up.

0

Adding 0 will remove the element from the current period and remove any recurrence in future.

1+

Adding 1 or more will continue the recurrence for that many more periods. i.e. adding 3 will make it recur for 3 periods.

πŸ“ŒNote: End dates with proration are not included in this release. This will be applied in a future update.
