Previously, your online payslip showed hours as a single 'Salary' line with no breakdown, making it impossible to verify individual shifts. Your payslip now groups shifts by type and lets you expand each group to see every shift worked during the pay period.
How the payslip is organised
Collapsed view
When you first open your payslip, you will see one summary line per shift type showing:
Shift type name (e.g. Kitchen PM Shifts, Bar AM Shifts, Floor Shifts)
Total hours worked for that shift type
Hourly rate
Total amount earned
An arrow icon (โผ) showing that the row can be expanded
Expanded view
Click the arrow icon (โผ) next to any shift type to expand it. You will then see a breakdown showing each individual shift with:
Date of the shift
Hours worked
Hourly rate
Amount earned for that shift
Click the arrow again (โฒ) to collapse the row back to the summary view. You can expand and collapse multiple shift types independently.
Access online payslip
To view your payslip with the shift breakdown, follow the steps below.
Log in to the Employee Portal.
Click My Payslips in the left-hand menu.
Select the pay period you want to view.
Click any โผ arrow to expand a shift category.
Print the payslip
When you print your online payslip, all shift categories will automatically expand to show the full details, so no action is needed before printing.
Draft and Supplementary Payslips
The expandable shift breakdown is also available on draft payslips (the preview you can see before the pay period is finalised) and on supplementary run payslips. This means you can check your hours at every stage of the payroll process.
Check pay
To verify your pay is correct, you can:
Compare the total hours in each category against your Rotaready schedule
Check individual shift dates and hours match your records
Confirm the hourly rate shown is correct for each shift type
Add up the totals across all categories to verify the overall pay figure
If you believe there is a discrepancy between your payslip and your schedule, please contact your payroll administrator in the first instance.
