Integration is automatically paused in Paycircle when payroll is calculated / run to make sure that no new data is
affecting the calculations.
What triggers the integration to pause?
The integration will automatically be paused when:
Clicking Company, Payroll, Current Period, Calculate
Clicking Company, Payroll, Current Period, Run Payroll
Note: If the pay run fails, the integration will remain paused until the issue is resolved and the pay run is completed.
Does the integration automatically resume?
Yes - the integration will automatically resume when:
Undoing the calculations in the current period:
Company, Payroll, Current Period, Undo calculation
Payroll was successfully completed and moved to the next pay period.
Confirming if the integration is paused
You can confirm if the integration is paused by clicking Company, Team, PeopleHR Updates.

When active, the screen will display an Active status.
When paused, the screen will display a Paused status.
If the integration is paused, this will also be displayed in the Alerts area of the Current Period screen, while payroll is calculated. The alert will also display how many updates are waiting to be processed after the integration service is resumed.
