You can store standard units against unit-based link rates. You can set these standard units to automatically apply to each pay period. If required, you can edit them for the current period. If you have lots of link rates, or lots of team members with link rates, you can import them.
Set the import layout
You need to check that you have the correct import layout:
Click Settings then click Imports.
Click the Layout tab then click Edit.
Select the Vertical layout then click Save.
Import a file
Click Payroll then click Current period.
Click + Add then click Import.
From your import file, drag and drop the column headers.
To ensure correct validation, map as many columns as possible.Click Next then click Import with this file.
Select the Link rate units import type.
If the importer can't auto-map any columns, to manually match them, click Match link element, select the link element then click Save.Click Import.
Create a new link element during import
During the import, if you notice that you haven't set up a link element yet:
Click Match link element then click Create a new link element.
Enter a name then select a pay element.
To map the new link element, click Match link element.
