If your Employer Payment Summary (EPS) failed when running the payroll due to the below error message.
EPS Error: <EPS> Submission Failed Validate: 3001: The submission of this document has failed due to the departmental specific business logic in the Body tag <Number: 4084 Value ‘X’ is too small at Location: /hd:GovTalkMessage[number]/eps:IRenvelope[number]/eps:EmployerPaymentSummary[number]/eps:RecoverableAmountsYTD[number]/eps:CISDeductionsSuffered[number]>
This error appears when you submit a negative CIS suffered value for the period.
To view the figure that caused the failure click on the EPS File located below the error. To proceed with the payroll you will need to amend the CIS Suffered value.
Error: 'Submission Failed Validate: 3001'
When I try to run the payroll, I get the error 'Submission Failed Validate: 3001'.
