The Rotaready Updates page now includes an export function that allows you to download warnings and errors as a CSV or Excel file. This replaces the previous manual copy and paste process and makes month-end reconciliation significantly faster.

The export includes improved warning messages that provide more actionable detail and a severity column to help you prioritise what needs attention.

How to export warnings and errors

Navigate to the Rotaready Updates page

  • Click Team, then click Rotaready Updates

Apply filters before exporting

Before exporting, use the filter options at the top of the page to narrow down the data:

  • Date range: select the period you want to export.

  • Severity: filter by Critical, Warning, or Informational.

  • Event type: filter by a specific event category if needed.

Download the export

  1. On the Rotaready Updates page, click Export.

  2. When prompted, click CSV or Excel.

  3. A progress indicator will display while the file is being prepared.

  4. Once complete, the file will download automatically.

For large exports, 3,000 or more rows, allow up to 30 seconds for the download to complete.

What the export contains

Each row in the export represents one warning or error event. The following fields are included:

  • Date and time the event was processed.

  • Employee name.

  • Event type.

  • Warning or error message (updated with improved detail β€” see below).

  • Severity (Critical, Warning, or Informational).

The severity column can be used to filter the exported file in Excel, allowing you to isolate critical warnings that require immediate action.

Improved warning messages

Warning and error messages displayed on the Rotaready Updates page and included in the export have been updated to provide clearer, more actionable information. Where previously messages were generic, they now include specific details about what caused the warning and what action to take.

This means the export is more useful as a standalone reconciliation tool; you should be able to identify and act on most warnings directly from the downloaded file without needing to investigate further in the system.

Recommended reconciliation workflow

For month-end reconciliation, follow this process:

  1. Click Team, then Rotaready Updates.

  2. Set the date range to cover the full pay period.

  3. Export to Excel.

  4. Sort or filter the severity column to review critical warnings first.

  5. Work through the remaining warnings and confirm any that require action in Paycircle.

This replaces the previous process of manually copying warnings from the screen and eliminates the need to page through results individually.
