Define the sort order of PDF payslips

Apply sorting to PDF payslips.

Different companies might want their payslips ordered in different ways. For example, some might want them sorted by surname, while others might want them sorted in departments. Within Paycircle, you can choose how the ‘Team payslips (PDF)’ and the ‘Payslip summary (PDF)’ downloads are ordered.

Choose the sort order

To choose how PDF payslips are ordered, follow the steps below.

  1. Within the company, click Settings, then click Payslips.

  2. Next to the downloads section, click Edit.

  3. Choose the option you wish to sort on. Unless otherwise chosen, payslips will be sorted by Payroll ID by default.

Add a business category sort

If you also wish to sort the payslips by business category, follow the steps below.

  1. Toggle the Add business category sorting on, then click the category type to sort on.

Team members who are in the Unallocated category for that business category will appear at the end of the PDF. Once you’re happy with the sorting options, click Save.
